Medium Welding Table
We recently received a customer enquiry about our Nukeson Light Duty Fixture Table. The standard version features a 3 mm thick mild steel work surface, but the customer asked if a 5 mm thick top might be possible.
While this wasn’t something we previously offered, their idea inspired us to make it happen. We developed a brand-new work surface design featuring a 5 mm thick mild steel top with underside bracing, while still maintaining the compact footprint of the Nukeson Light Duty Fixture Table. The new surface also includes D16 holes arranged in a 50 × 50 grid, making it just as practical as it is robust.
Thanks to that one customer suggestion, this upgraded version is now available to everyone. It has officially been added to our standard Industrial Tech Store web shop — so you can grab yours today.
Workshop Storage Trolley
A customer recently called us asking about a MegaMaxx storage trolley, but with a few modifications. They wanted larger access to a bigger lower shelf while still keeping a top shelf. We worked up a new design and sent over the schematics for them to review.
A few days later, they came back with another idea — could we add a handle to make it easier to move, as the items being carried would be quite large and heavy? We designed a brand-new handle specifically for this project, something we hadn’t used before, and brought the concept to life.
We love a challenge like this. And who knows — if an idea proves popular enough, it might even become a standard product in our Web Shop, just like some of our other customer-inspired designs!
Workshop Transport Trolley
One of our colleagues in the factory wanted a quicker and more efficient way to transport multiple large boxes around the workshop. Using a similar design we had recently developed (as seen above), we adapted and modified it to accommodate our largest boxes.
The result is a simple but highly effective solution that now allows our staff to move boxes around the factory far more easily and efficiently than carrying them by hand.
It just goes to show that a quick conversation can uncover some great ideas. There are plenty of smart solutions out there — and we’re always keen to help turn them into a reality.
Custom Display Items
A good idea was brought to us about how they wanted to know if we could come up with and design some custom display style stands and units. So our Chief Product Designer, Kris, drew up some sketches, showed them to the customer, and they approved!
We then planned them out, got them into production, and now we have a brand new product to sell as standard items and also as customisable products for customers to mould to how they want it!
