The PGHL‑400‑80 is a compact, high-force electric parallel gripper designed to handle heavy-duty tasks with ease. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, it’s particularly suited for applications such as battery cell handling, automotive manufacturing, and logistics automation.
Delivering a gripping force of 140–400 N per jaw, the PGHL‑400‑80 can manage payloads of up to 8 kg with an 80 mm stroke, providing excellent adaptability for large or irregularly shaped components. Its built-in mechanical self-locking feature ensures secure part retention even in the event of power loss—retaining over 95% of the rated gripping force.
The gripper offers repeat accuracy of ± 0.02 mm, supporting precision applications, and operates with fast open/close times of 1.0 s / 1.1 s to keep pace with high-speed automation lines. Advanced internal gearing and a compact form factor ensure it delivers strong performance without compromising installation flexibility.
The PGHL‑400‑80 includes onboard electronics and supports standard Modbus RTU (RS‑485) and Digital I/O communication, with optional interfaces like EtherCAT, PROFINET, and CAN available for integration into more complex systems. It maintains quiet operation under 60 dB, making it well-suited to collaborative and industrial workspaces.
